NV The Antipodean “Matakana Day” CS/Merlot/Malbec/ Syrah

The wine has a brick red colour, so a browny red rather than say a purple red or a crimson red. Aromas of plum or currents; a bit of spiciness and a bit of chocolate. On the palate this wine has tastes of sweet summer berries, ripe blackcurrents. This is a light-bodied wine on the palate, with smooth, integrated tannins, soft/silky tannins and a long fruit finish with a little minerality on the end. An elegant, balanced wine .
